Ask us to remove an intimate image
If an intimate image of you is on Home Ward without your consent, tell us. You don't need an account, and someone you trust can ask for you.
Email legal@home-ward.comOr write to legal@home-ward.com from any email app.
What to send
- Where it is: a link, or the member's name and what the post shows.
- That it shows you, or that you're asking for the person it shows.
- That it was shared without consent.
- How to reach you.
- Your name, typed, as your signature.
What we do
We act as soon as we can, and within 48 hours of a request that lets us find the image. We take it out of Home Ward, so no one else sees it in any feed, profile or search, and we look for identical copies and take those out too.
Limits. The person who posted it can still see their own post. A direct link to the photo that someone already has usually stops working within about 10 minutes of our removing it, and sometimes takes longer. A copy someone has already saved may remain.
